The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm through a vibrant programme featuring lamp lighting, dance, music, patriotic songs, and a meaningful skit. The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism and national pride among the students.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, flag hoisting, and a patriotic song, setting a spirit of pride and patriotism. This was followed by ‘Nrithya Dhara’, a spectacular patriotic-themed contemporary folk dance performed by 600+ students. The performance was organised as an attempt to create a Wonder Book of World Records (London) and marked the celebration of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, making the occasion truly memorable and inspiring.

Vividha-2026 – Academic Fair witnessed students showcasing innovative projects in AI, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Space Science, Robotics, and Computer Science. One Grasp, an organisation promoting innovation and nurturing young talent, also visited the fair and appreciated the students’ creativity and innovative ideas.

DPS Miyapur proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Commodore Pravin Rajpal (Retd.) and Guest of Honour Group Captain R.
