To mark the 166th Indian Income Tax Day, DPS Miyapur, in collaboration with the State Income Tax Department, organized an awareness session on 24th July 2025 for Classes 11 and 12. Officials including Mr. G. Kodanda Rama Reddy (DCIT), Mr. K. Purna Chandrashekhar (ITO), and Mr. K. Srinivasa Rao (ITI) enlightened students on the evolution, significance, and utilization of taxes through presentations and a documentary. The interactive session helped students gain clarity on taxation processes and the role of taxes in nation-building, leaving them better informed and inspired.

On June 28, 2025, DPS Miyapur held its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 with great pride and solemnity. Chief Guest Mr. K. Murlidharan (Retd), DCP, presided over the event and administered the oath to the newly elected Student Council. Cultural performances celebrated leadership, courage, and service. Scholar badges and awards were also presented, recognizing academic excellence. The event inspired young leaders to uphold the school’s motto — Service Before Self.

DPS Miyapur celebrated Yoga & Music Day with great enthusiasm as Grade 5 students showcased the importance of mental and physical well-being. The event featured a thoughtful skit, yoga demonstrations, meditation, and soulful musical performances by the choir. Chief Guest Dr. Gautam Samanta and school leaders participated actively, inspiring students with their words and presence. The celebration concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.

On June 20, 2025, UKG students at DPS Miyapur joyfully celebrated Father’s Day, honoring the love and guidance of fathers. The event featured heartfelt performances, including songs, dances, and a skit about different types of dads. Children gifted handmade thank-you cards, bringing smiles to every father. Fun games with LKG and UKG kids added to the joy, making it a truly memorable celebration.

On 12th June 2025, DPS Miyapur inaugurated KRITI – The Idea and Innovation Lab to foster creativity and innovation. Graced by Dr. Sushanta Kumar Sahu and Mr. Prabhas, the event showcased student talent and marked a new era of experiential learning.
